Too Early to Run

I was just heading out for a cup of coffee, but as always, I brought my camera just in case I saw something memorable.  As I was driving past my college, I noticed that the local high schools were using our expansive grounds for their track meet.  Instead of capturing photos of sweaty young runners, I turned my lens on the buses that sat waiting for them.  What I captured was a very moody photo that speaks of the boredom the drivers must endure while waiting for the students to conclude their activities.

One in Ten Million

These are a few selections from a set I call, "One in Ten Million."  The point of the set is to use the space right out my front door to grab, "one of the ten million possible photographs in any one space."  This was a lesson that my Digital Photography professor ingrained into my mind over the course of last semester.  Instead of using ordinary angles, I sought to rotate them until they came through as true pieces of art, rather than just another photo of the boring apartment complex I've lived in for nearly 4 years now.  As always, click on them for a larger view.
